I wrote With You Wherever You Go to remind kids everywhere that no matter what life throws at them—whether it’s joyful or challenging—God walks with them through it all. This is a message my mom has shared with me throughout my life, and it has helped me navigate life’s joys and challenges with gratitude and grace.

My second book, Gabby and the Big Art Show, is about a young girl who loves art, loses her passion for it, and finds her way back after someone she loves reminds her of her why. The artwork Gabby creates throughout the story was all inspired by my daughter’s artwork.

As I worked on With You Wherever You Go, I thought it would be useful for kids to have a dedicated space to express gratitude creatively during honest conversations with God. That thought led to creating Dear God: A Gratitude Journal for Kids.
